Let me tell you about All Seasons.
Picture a long metal building on the Interstate 70 Business Loop on the east side of Grand Junction, Colorado, with a gravel yard out front full of machines, a tall sign by the road, and a bell on the counter inside. That’s All Seasons Rentals. It’s a family-owned place, and it does three things: it rents tools and equipment, it sells new equipment, and it fixes equipment. The people there call themselves project specialists. You walk in with a job, and you walk out with the right machine and somebody who showed you how to run it.
The rental yard.
Start with the big iron. Out in the yard there are skid steers and track loaders, the compact loaders that scoop, push and carry, along with mini excavators for digging footings and trenches, walk-behind trenchers for running water lines and wire, and augers for boring post holes. There are dump trailers to haul the dirt away, and buckets, forks, augers and brush cutters that attach to the machines.
Then there are the lifts. A towable boom lift that hooks behind a pickup and reaches thirty-four feet into the air, a scissor lift for indoor ceilings, and a material lift for setting beams and ductwork with two people instead of six.
There’s outdoor power: generators for the job site, plate compactors and jumping jacks for packing a pad, air compressors, and pumps for moving water out of a hole. There are hot and cold water pressure washers, right up to a trailer-mounted wash system with its own tank, and airless paint sprayers. For trees and firewood there are wood chippers, log splitters and stump grinders. For the lawn there are zero-turn and walk-behind mowers, aerators, tillers, power rakes and sod cutters.
And then all the hand tools and shop tools a job needs: jackhammers, concrete saws and mixers, floor sanders and grinders, tile saws, nailers, laser levels, scaffolding and ladders, carpet tools, engine hoists and jacks, sewer snakes and drain jetters, trailers, even a popcorn machine and folding chairs. You can rent by the hour, the day, the week, or the month. Every rental leaves fueled right and explained.
The sales floor.
Inside, All Seasons is an authorized dealer for three brands. Hustler zero-turn mowers, the yellow ones, from homeowner size up to commercial decks. Husqvarna, the orange ones: chainsaws, string trimmers and blowers, gas and battery, plus zero-turn mowers. And Hotsy pressure washers, the red ones: hot water and cold water, gas and electric, portable units and trailer systems, along with Hotsy’s full line of detergents for grease, road film, aluminum, vehicles and floors. There’s also a portable generator on the floor with a Honda engine.
You won’t find prices on the website, on purpose. You call, or you come sit on the mower, and a real person gives you a real quote.
The service bay.
Two certified technicians work in the shop behind the counter. They’re the factory-authorized service for Hotsy, Husqvarna and Hustler: warranty work, repairs, tune-ups, chains and blades and belts. And they fix small engines of any brand: lawn mowers, riding mowers, generators, pressure washers, trimmers, chainsaws and gas-powered construction tools. The saying on the wall is simple: we service what we sell, and more.
The parts wall and the propane.
Along one side of the showroom runs a parts wall with thousands of small-engine and pressure-washer parts on it: filters, belts, carburetors, coils, nozzles, pumps, bar and chain, trimmer line, gaskets and starters, for Hotsy, Honda, Husqvarna, Briggs and Stratton, Kawasaki, Kohler and the rest. You find the part number on the website, call, and it’s waiting on the counter. Safety gear is on the shelf too: chaps, helmets, glasses, gloves and hearing protection.
Out front there’s propane. Tank fills, twenty-pound exchanges, and new tanks. Drive up, fill up, get back to it.
Where we work.
The yard is in Grand Junction, but the trailers go everywhere. Fruita and Palisade in the Grand Valley. Rifle, Glenwood Springs, Carbondale and Aspen up the interstate and the Roaring Fork. Delta and the North Fork orchards. Montrose, Ridgway, Ouray and Telluride to the south. Gunnison over the pass. Cortez and Durango in the Four Corners. And west over the state line to Moab and the Utah desert.

The rental counter is open Monday through Friday from eight in the morning until five, and Saturday from nine until one. Parts and service run Monday through Friday, eight to four. Closed Sundays.
